Hey there, we're Mickey & Mili, and we're the duo behind Candy Cutique (the Cute Candy Boutique). Back in 2019, Mickey was still in university, studying Culinary Arts & Business, when he stumbled upon a vintage rotisserie chicken truck up for auction. Even though he didn't have a clear idea of what to do with it, he was determined to figure it out and use it to practice running his own business. Out of the blue, he thought about selling freshly spun candy floss at local markets, and six months later, he turned the truck into a super cute candy floss truck. Unfortunately, he hit a snag when he found out he couldn't run it under his student visa. So, during his last year of university, he threw himself into candy floss, coming up with a shelf stable packaging idea that made the product easier to scale. After he graduated, he launched the business, even though he was juggling other jobs as a restaurant manager and labourer. Nowadays, he's all in on Candy Cutique and not a second thought about it. Then a few years later Mili walked into the shop as a customer and walked out as Mickey's partner, together they form a great team running Candy Cutique. Mili is taking care of marketing these days and has a sweet tooth so she loves to taste test new creations.
